Earlier this week, Predictiv AI announced a new partnership with the Waterloo Artificial Intelligence Institute at the University of Waterloo. The collaboration will allow Predictiv AI’s subsidiary, AI Labs Inc., access to the world's top artificial intelligence resources, creating much greater bandwidth in ideation, research, and development of solutions for real-world problems.

I think that we all have a bit of cabin fever from the lack of social contact with one another, especially when it comes to sharing awesome experiences such as attending concerts and seeing live sports – nothing beats the live experience. However, to protect the health and wellness of artists, athletes, spectators, and all others involved, practically all events and sports at every level (from amateur to professional) were cancelled or postponed across the globe. The Olympics and Paralympics, for the first time in the history of the modern games, were postponed, and are now anticipated to be held in 2021.

Whether it’s factories, construction sites, postal facilities, or large retailers, the latest numbers show heavily populated, essential workplaces are hotspots for COVID-19 in Ontario. Driven largely by industrial jobs, workplaces have surged to become the most common setting for outbreaks in Ontario and have even surpassed care settings, including long-term care homes.

When COVID-19 first emerged, hospitals worldwide were overwhelmed, under resourced, and at the epicenter of the crisis. With no standard operating procedures for COVID-19, and more and more patients presenting themselves at emergency departments, hospital staff had to rapidly adapt to the situation at hand and become the model for care.

School administrators and parents are more concerned than ever about the health and wellness of the staff and students and need to implement ways to mitigate worries over their physical and mental health.

My name is Michael Lende and as the incoming President & CEO of Predictiv AI, I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself to all of you - the AI and industrial IoT software and solutions community who are helping to make our company what it is today.

I am excited to be leading the talented and dynamic team at the Predictiv AI. Acting in a consulting role since November, I have identified several new prospects in various verticals where our machine learning-based products and proprietary data-sets are much-needed solutions. These scalable opportunities, which are moving forward in real-time, have presented themselves in the insurance, logistics and fleet management industries in addition to public safety.
